Jacques Villeneuve will compete in the Formula 1 support races.
The 1997 world champion Jacques Villeneuve returns to racing for the first time since 2023, resuming his sports career. In 2026, the Canadian will compete in the Porsche Supercup racing series, which is a support race for Formula 1 at European events. Jacques received an invitation from the series organizers and will race as a VIP driver. His car, a Porsche 911, is painted in the colors of the racing helmet that Villeneuve wore in Formula 1. The Porsche Supercup season kicks off on the first weekend of June in Monaco. Stages are also planned in Barcelona, Spielberg, Spa, Budapest, Zandvoort (two stages), and Monza.
