The FIA confirmed the dates for the Macau Grand Prix.

      The Macau Grand Prix will have the status of the World Cup for Formula Regional and F4 starting in 2024, and the FIA has confirmed the dates for the autumn race, which traditionally concludes the season in youth series in these categories: in 2026, it will take place from November 19 to 22. Additionally, the federation, along with the event organizers, has approved the procedure for submitting applications to participate; in particular, as stated in the FIA press release, young drivers from around the world who dream of competing in Formula 1 in the future are invited. During the Macau Grand Prix, they will "have the chance to showcase their potential in competitions widely recognized as a proving ground for rising stars in motorsport." These races take place on the famous city circuit with a lap length of 6120 m, which is considered one of the most challenging street circuits in the world. Starting this year, Formula Regional will use second-generation Tatuus T326 cars built according to the new specification approved by the FIA, with the same ideas that are embodied in Formula 1 technology serving as benchmarks. Pirelli tires are used in the World Cup races for Formula Regional and F4. Emanuele Pirro, president of the FIA single-seater racing commission, stated: "The confirmation of the dates for the World Cup for Formula Regional and F4 is an important moment that gives young drivers the opportunity to set goals and begin their preparation. This year, the competitions within the World Cup for Formula Regional gain additional significance due to the transition to second-generation Tatuus T 326 cars..." The selection of drivers eligible to participate in the Macau Grand Prix will be based on the results shown in regional championships in 2026, but results from 2025 will also be taken into account.
