Briatore: The best thing about Luce is that the Chinese won't copy it.
Yesterday we wrote that the first electric Ferrari – the recently unveiled Ferrari Luce – has sparked a wave of criticism, led to a drop in the company's stock price, and former president Luca di Montezemolo even called for the removal of the "Prancing Horse" from the car.
Today, the new model was commented on by another Formula 1 veteran – Alpine executive advisor Flavio Briatore. With his characteristic sarcasm, Briatore stated that the electric Ferrari has one clear advantage – Chinese manufacturers will not be interested in copying it.
Italian politician Carlo Calenda called the car "an aesthetic and technological betrayal of Ferrari's legacy."
