      Stefano Domenicali commented on the possible switch to V8 engines in 2030 or 2031. The president and CEO of Formula 1 confirmed that he fully supports such a decision.

      Some people, very few, complain about the new power unit regulations. I am just stating a fact. We must not forget that these changes were necessary, as otherwise manufacturers would stop supplying engines to teams. That was their desire, and that is a fact.

      For our part, we did not want to fully switch to electric cars, so a compromise was found to attract new manufacturers."
