Pierre Gasly: The main qualifying session of the season is ahead!

      The Alpine drivers showed decent results on Friday and are looking forward to continuing with optimism...

      Pierre Gasly (11th): "It's nice to be back in Monaco; I've always enjoyed racing on this track. This year, with the cars being a bit smaller and lighter, the sensations have changed, but racing a Formula 1 car here is still great.

      On Friday, we completed a lot of laps, and in Monaco, it's always important to have a steady and stable day without unnecessary pauses. Most of the work during practice is dedicated to runs with a small amount of fuel and preparing for qualifying.

      For most of the day, we were in the top ten – this weekend we should be aiming for points, although things aren't going as well as on other tracks. We definitely have work to do to achieve more in the most important qualifying session of the season."

      Franco Colapinto (15th): "A decent day in Monaco. We are back in Europe, with the usual Grand Prix schedule of two Friday practice sessions. The Monaco stage is special for all of us, especially since I now live in Monaco.

      After today, we have things to work on, primarily to improve speed and efficiency. The track in Monaco is special; it's a unique place where we need to focus more on precise setups rather than radical changes."
