Isaac Hadjar: Our starting procedure is too complicated.
Isaac Hajar started sixth in Barcelona, but had a poor start and finished the first lap in 14th place. The Red Bull Racing driver managed to recover, finishing sixth, and after the race, he expressed his dissatisfaction with the starting procedure developed by the team.
Isaac Hajar: "If we talk about the six practice starts I had over the weekend, this one was the worst. And, of course, it happened right on the starting grid. I stalled twice, even though that had never happened to me all season.
We need to solve the problem with the starts because the procedure is too complicated. I'm not a computer or a machine to be precise to 0.0001%. It doesn't work that way.
We generally need to work seriously on the starts because we can't continue like this. The same story repeats every weekend. In Barcelona, it turned into a real nightmare, but to be honest, the problems were there throughout the weekend.
This is what we need to work on first. Everyone else managed to improve, and I took a step back again. The starting procedure is too complicated, and the working range is too narrow."
