      Amazon Prime Day presents an ideal low-risk chance to try out a new car cleaning product or simply replenish your garage supplies. Here are my top picks for cleaning, detailing, and car-care accessories that you can grab at a great price if you’re a Prime member (free trials available) through June 26.

      22% off: Mothers California Gold Ceramic Spray & Rinse Wax ($13.99). This is a fantastic and very simple addition to even a basic car wash—just spray your vehicle with it after washing, while it's still wet, then rinse and let the product work to protect your paint. While it won't last as long as a professional ceramic coating that costs $1,000, it provides excellent protection for a minimal time and money investment.

      42% off: Mothers five-inch microfiber polishing pads ($7.59). My polishing pads seem to always get damaged, used, or taken by my dog (or all of the above). Snagging a six-pack for nearly half the price is a smart choice.

      40% off: Chemical Guys Grubbie Edge pet hair removal tool ($8.99). This handy tool effectively removes dog hair that gets stuck in car upholstery. If you have a dog that travels with you, this is a must-have, and this price is outstanding. There's also a brush-style version available, which is also 40% off.

      25% off: Lexol Two-Step Leather Kit ($17.31). People are often very brand loyal regarding leather cleaners. While I'm not one of those, I've had great success with Lexol, so I'm happy to see it discounted this week. I use it not just on car seats but also on some of my nicer shoes and even an English horse saddle.

      15% off: Jay Leno’s Garage All-Purpose Cleaner Car Detail Spray ($8.47). This might seem like an odd choice, but yes, Jay Leno does have his own line of car cleaning products. This specific item is incredibly effective. I’m not sure what’s in it or how it works so well, but I’ve removed stains from paint and fabrics with this cleaner that other products couldn’t tackle. A little of this goes a long way.
