Alonso is thinking about staying for a few more years.

      I can't say that it's really related to whether we have a good car or a bad one. There are other factors that I need to take into account. It's possible that the car will be just great, yet I will still feel that this sport is moving in the wrong direction.

      If the car doesn't improve significantly in Budapest, where we plan to test new items, nothing terrible will happen – next year we will still have a completely different concept. A successful race in Hungary could help clarify things, but it won't be the only factor influencing my decision."

      Alonso's career in Formula 1 began in 2001 with the Minardi team.
