Nico Hülkenberg received a warning.

The stewards of the Belgian Grand Prix reviewed Nico Hülkenberg's actions during the first practice session when he did not slow down sufficiently in the double yellow flag zone. The reason for the double yellow flags was a car that had stopped at Turn 5. Nico passed by, and during the debrief with the stewards, he noted that he did not see any yellow flags or indications on the panel, but he did notice a short signal on the steering wheel, although he was unsure if it was a double yellow or just a yellow. The stewards agreed that Hülkenberg did not have enough time to react. However, it was determined that the Audi driver did not slow down enough in the double yellow flag zone, which is a violation. Nevertheless, considering the circumstances, the stewards issued a racing warning. This is Nico Hülkenberg's second racing warning of the season.
