Norris: The plan is to push forward.

      Lando Norris showed the third fastest time in qualifying at Spa, finishing behind only Kimi Antonelli and Max Verstappen, but the McLaren driver and reigning world champion will lose ten positions on the grid due to a replacement of the control electronics unit of the Mercedes power unit.

      Lando Norris (3rd): "We didn't change much on the car, but we are just a bit faster on this track. Of course, I'm happy that we showed the third fastest time, but I'm not happy about the other thing: tomorrow we will lose ten places. So unfortunately, we won't start from third position on Sunday, although it would have been interesting to battle with Kimi and Max!

      But we had a pretty good qualifying, I drove a good lap, so we did everything we could. To be honest, I'm satisfied with how the weekend is going so far, so let's hope we can have a good race tomorrow.

      There's a chance it will be interesting and fun, and of course, the plan is to push forward. I don't know how far we can climb, but the car is working well, that's clear, especially since it allowed us to show the 3rd result.

      We'll see, but I think there will be plenty of opportunities, the race is going to be long, and I hope overtaking is possible here. We'll try to put on a great show for everyone!"

      Oscar Piastri (7th): "I'm having some difficulties this weekend. At the beginning of yesterday's practice, everything was fine, but then I started having problems with the car, after which I went out for the second practice session later than everyone else, and I couldn't manage to set good laps. Today it happened again.

      In the end, we were able to improve a bit and get closer to a normal level of speed, but so far the weekend has been challenging, that's for sure. It's hard to say what pace the car will be capable of in race mode because we haven't done many laps in practice.

      In the final qualifying session, the drivers starting next to us showed quite comparable results, although we are still behind in terms of pace compared to those ahead. But we'll see what we can do tomorrow, although it won't be easy to push forward."
