Tom Hart will become Max Verstappen's racing engineer.
Red Bull Racing confirmed that Tom Hart will become Max Verstappen's race engineer next year, following the mandatory leave of Giampiero Lambiase, who is transitioning to McLaren. Hart was also planning to leave – last November, it was announced that he would be moving to Williams – he was supposed to become Alex Albon's race engineer, but the team managed to convince him to stay. Now Hart will work as a race engineer at Red Bull, even if Verstappen decides to leave in the future. He will work some weekends already this season, and in 2027 he will take on this position on a permanent basis.
