Despite the summer break in Formula 1, the racing season continues in other racing series. This weekend, the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint is taking place at the French track of Magny-Cours, where Max Verstappen's team is competing.
The first race of the weekend was won by the Verstappen Racing crew consisting of Jules Gounon and Daniel Juncadella in the Mercedes-AMG car number 3. After the finish, the team posted on social media: "How nice it is! We have worked hard for this, but we finally achieved victory in the first race at Magny-Cours!"
Max Verstappen congratulated the team on his social media: "I am very proud of you. Great job, team."
