Wolff: In childhood, the main thing is the joy of racing.

Toto Wolff's son Jack is now nine years old, he is involved in karting, competes in the IAME series, and is leading the championship after a recent victory in Italy. With extensive experience working with Formula 1 drivers, Toto acknowledged that finding the right approach to his son can sometimes be challenging.

Toto Wolff: "Everything starts in karting. Formula 1 is the same, just on steroids. The racing is exactly the same, and watching the kids is fantastically interesting.

As a parent, you are always emotionally involved, and that is perfectly normal, but Jack is only nine years old, there are many little kids around – it’s important to find the right way to communicate. It doesn’t always work out. There are tough moments, but in the end, everything gets better, and every little setback becomes a lesson for the future.

At this age, you just need to wait, give the kids time. They are still very young, it’s important that they feel not the pressure of needing to achieve results, but rather enjoy racing – that’s the most important thing."
