The FIA has lifted all restrictions on Russian athletes.

      The FIA has lifted all restrictions on the participation of representatives from the Russian Federation in competitions. Now our athletes will be able to compete again on the international stage under the state flag and anthem of Russia. The decision was made unanimously at the FIA World Council for Motorsport.

      "I sincerely congratulate all our racers, colleagues, and everyone involved in motorsport who contributed to this fair decision," said Boris Romanovich Rotenberg, president of the Russian Automobile Federation. "This is an important day for Russian motorsport. Russia's positions have been restored at a legal level. Our athletes will once again represent Russia on the international stage without any compromises, reservations, or artificial barriers.

      This decision is backed by enormous diplomatic work from the RAF. We have always maintained a professional dialogue with our colleagues from the FIA, firmly defending the interests of our country.

      Sport and culture should be above politics - they unite nations. Justice has triumphed.

      We are grateful to the International Automobile Federation for the constructive dialogue and are ready to work together to resolve all pressing issues.

      We have many top-class drivers in completely different motorsport disciplines. Even under restrictions, our athletes continued to win and prove their high level in international competitions. Now they will be able to achieve heights again under the proudly raised Russian tricolor and accompanied by our national anthem."

      Earlier this year, the full membership of the Russian Automobile Federation in the FIA was restored. The RAF has regained the opportunity to participate in votes and the work of specialized committees and commissions.

      "The full restoration of the Russian Automobile Federation's membership in the FIA is a crucial step that brings Russia back into the process of making key decisions in world motorsport," noted Boris Romanovich Rotenberg. "We are returning to work in the committees and commissions of the International Automobile Federation, where our specialists will again have the right to vote."
