The leader of Williams is already experimenting with racing equipment.

James Vowles mentioned that he might eventually participate in Le Mans, but only after adequately preparing to contend for victory. In his free time, the Williams chief tests racing cars and recently drove for a team that is competing in the World Endurance Championship.

"Perhaps someday," Vowles stated to Spain’s Soy Motor when asked about Le Mans. "You can’t just drive the car every four months and expect to be competitive at Le Mans. It doesn’t work that way."

When it was pointed out that some drivers compete with less preparation, he responded: "I agree, but my goal is to go there to win."

"I would likely take part in Road to Le Mans a year earlier to ensure I have completed enough laps around the circuit in a GT3 car."

For the time being, though, Formula 1 remains his main focus.

"My attention is on Williams," Vowles emphasized. "When we start winning multiple championships, then I might think about my other aspirations."
