Marcin Budkowski: I take on the task with enthusiasm.

The second half of the season for the Cadillac F1 team begins with a new leader, and at the Dutch Grand Prix, Marcin Budkowski will make his debut on the team's "bridge."

His appointment was unexpectedly announced a week ago, but he has already visited the team's British base in Silverstone and started getting to know the team, which will face challenging tasks in the remaining stages of the season.

Marcin Budkowski, team principal: "The weekend program in Zandvoort includes a sprint, so the start of my work at Cadillac F1 will be energetic and interesting. This is my first week with the team, and at the Dutch Grand Prix, I will get the chance to see its racing crew in action for the first time.

I will have time to meet everyone, although there are quite a few familiar faces here, listen to people's opinions, and understand how the team operates. It has confidently begun implementing its program in Formula 1, a solid foundation has already been laid, and the task is to continue this work. I am excited to get to work to achieve progress in the second half of the season."

Sergio Perez: "After an intense first half of the season, it's great that everyone took a little break in August. But now we are back on the racetrack, and that's wonderful too.

The second half of the season will bring new challenges, but I hope some opportunities will also arise, so I can't wait to get to work. I will try to quickly gain the necessary speed – Marcin and the whole team will help with that."

Valtteri Bottas: "It's great that after the summer break, when everyone was recharging their batteries, we will be racing again. The Dutch Grand Prix promises to be an interesting test for the team, and since we have a sprint this weekend, it will require everyone to give their best effort from the very first moment we get to the track.

Moreover, this is Marcin's first race as the head of Cadillac F1, and I am sure he will bring his new approach to our work.

The drivers in Zandvoort will face challenging tasks, and although there are fast corners on this track, its organic layout helps find a good rhythm. Overcoming the banking is also fun – experiencing this behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car doesn't happen very often."
