Racing Bulls is conducting a filming day and TPC tests in Imola.
On Thursday, the Racing Bulls team began a filming day in Imola with the main drivers. Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad will be able to drive no more than 200 kilometers in the 2026 car as part of promotional shoots, but much more importantly, they will assess the behavior of the current car on the track that may host the final stage of the season. Meanwhile, testing in Imola as part of the TPC (Testing of a Previous Car) program is being conducted by Nikola Tsolov. For the Bulgarian driver, this is his first experience piloting a Formula 1 car, and he is working behind the wheel of last year's VCARB02. For Racing Bulls, this is a great opportunity to evaluate Tsolov's adaptability, working methods, and ability to drive a car that is significantly more powerful than the Formula 2 car Tsolov is used to. Moreover, the tests are critically important for Nikola himself – if he drives 300 kilometers, he will receive a super license, granting him the right to participate in Friday practice sessions during race weekends. If today's planned program is successfully completed, Nikola Tsolov could debut in Formula 1 in the first session of free practice this season.
