Fernando Alonso: "On a ten-point scale, I would give Max a 9.9. Because the perfect score is only for me! I am sure he has a few weak spots. We all have them. But that is really a very high score.
Max is the best opponent I have ever had on the track, especially because he really has no visible weaknesses. He is a 9.9. We just need to find that last tenth. I am sure he has a weak spot.
In the early years, Verstappen had too many emotions, so he often made mistakes, but after the second or third year: no mistakes, no misses, just good results. He was exceptional, I think he raised the bar for all of us. If you want to beat Max on the track, you just have to get better."
