When updating the surface engineers used the most modern materials, which allowed to ensure the uniformity of the surface, improve grip and reduce tire wear. In addition, increased efficiency of the drainage system, which is important for the track, where races are often accompanied by heavy rain. The new surface will allow racers to pass the corners faster, but teams will have to adapt to its characteristics. This year's Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka will take place on April sixth.
