The Red Bull team took part in the Ford presentation

Yesterday in the state of North Carolina, in the city of Charlotte, where many NASCAR teams are based, Ford Performance, the racing division of the American auto giant held a presentation dedicated to the beginning of the motorsports season. We mentioned about this event when talking about Ford's plans to return to the WEC in 2027. But this presentation was also attended by the Red Bull Racing team, because their joint project with Ford is coming to the finish line. This corporation, the largest car company in the United States, since 2023 is a partner of Red Bull Racing on the engine building program, and now this division is officially called Red Bull Ford Powertrains. In 2026 in Formula 1 will debut in the power plants developed by the joint efforts of the two companies, and at yesterday's presentation, which gathered more than 1800 fans, journalists and guests Ford spoke about this, among other things.

Red Bull Racing CEO Christian Horner and driver Liam Lawson flew to North Carolina for the event. Christian Horner: "It's exciting to start the 2025 season with Ford Perfomance as we prepare for the changes that are in store for Formula 1 and Red Bull in 2026. It's an exciting time for our team, and while the challenges of building our own engine cannot be underestimated, our partnership with Ford plays a key role in this project. Jim Farley, President and CEO, Ford Motor Company: "Formula 1 gives us the opportunity to showcase Ford technology on a global stage and reach new audiences. It's an exciting chapter in our company's history and over the past 20 years Red Bull has been successful in changing the landscape of Formula 1 through its determination to do things its own way - an approach that is very much in line with our Red Bull Ford Powertrains partnership. Liam Lawson, Red Bull Racing driver: "My 2025 season is off to a special start as I joined our team at the Ford Performance launch in Charlotte. It's exciting to be working with such a partner as I've been a long-time fan of this legendary brand. I've spent a lot of time in the US, and I usually drive a Ford Raptor R on American roads. The Ford brand has become synonymous with racing culture, not just in America, but around the world. I'm excited to be part of the Ford family and I'm already looking forward to the exciting things we can do together this season as we prepare for 2026.
