David Coulthard has proposed to his new girlfriend.

In general, it makes sense to share the news that DC, as he is often called, has proposed to his new girlfriend, Swedish model Sigrid Silversand. Especially since we already told you about their relationship exactly two years ago. The event took place on the island of Mauritius, where the couple recently vacationed. The former racing driver, now a popular commentator, blogger and successful entrepreneur, owner of an 80-million-dollar fortune, turned 53 last March, Sigrid is 24 years younger, but who stops it nowadays. Apparently, the first to tell about Coulthard's matrimonial plans was his longtime business partner Eddie Jordan, who gave away the Scotsman's secret in an article for Boatinternational.com, which writes about superyachts. The Daily Mail tabloid quotes Sigrid as saying that David surprised her: "I must send a special congratulations to David Coulhardt, my old pal, who has just gone to Mauritius where his engagement to a Swedish model took place!
