Christensen: Max's life will change when he becomes a father

But the legendary Dane also talked about the upcoming season in Formula 1... Tom Christensen: "When Max Verstappen is not piloting a real race car, he sits in the simulator chair and participates in virtual endurance races, which means that he likes them. You could say that he is already starting to think about competing at Le Mans in the future. Given his status at Red Bull, if he stays with the team - and there's a lot of talk about that at the moment - he might get a chance to compete at Le Mans one day during the Formula 1 season. That's a possibility, too. After all, if you add endurance racing to F1 and cyber racing, that would make him an even more versatile professional. Personally, I like to see F1 drivers in rallying, in GT, and although it's certainly more typical of old-school drivers, I'd love to see Max behind the wheel of a sportscar. It's true that his life will be a bit different when he becomes a father, I have no doubt about that. It happened to me at one time, but it happens to everyone. Although, it's probably only going to make Max stronger. And the essence of such changes is that you try to even more rationally and optimally distribute your time. But if he remains in Red Bull, when the cooperation of the team with Ford will develop - and recently in this company confirmed that they will return to Le Mans with a car category LMDh - then it also opens some opportunities ... But now I am very much looking forward to the new season in Formula 1. In 2025 there will be a lot of newcomers to the championship who are already showing some potential, and of course, the very important news is that Lewis Hamilton has already tried on the red Ferrari uniform. And he is also full of strength and energy, very motivated, and this is also an interesting aspect. As for Red Bull Racing, Liam Lawson needs to prepare for the fact that he will be inferior in speed to Max, but the task of any racer is to make this gap as small as possible. The truth is that time has always worked against all of Verstappen's former teammates, and the only exception is Sergio Perez. Personally, I think Carlos Sainz could be Max's ideal teammate, but as we know, the world is not perfect and the situation is always affected by political games and all sorts of other factors. Let's hope that Liam is a good choice too, and we will soon see that this guy turns out to have quite the potential."
