FIA president dreams of having a Chinese team in F1

      Mohammed bin Sulayem in an interview with the French newspaper Le Figaro said that he would like to see in the future in Formula 1 factory team of one of the Chinese automakers. Experts believe that Bin Sulayem is referring to Geely, which is one of the three largest Chinese car companies, and Guangyu Zhou is already serving as an ambassador for this brand. Geely Holding owns stakes in such world-famous companies as Volvo, Polestar (together with Volvo Cars), Aston Martin (together with Mercedes and other investors), Proton, Smart (together with Mercedes) and Lotus. Experts believe that Bin Sulayem is referring to this Chinese concern, even if it was not mentioned directly.
