Gunther Steiner withdraws lawsuit against Haas team

      Last year, former Haas CEO Gunther Steiner sued his former team. Steiner claimed that Haas had not paid him the bonuses due for the 2021-2023 seasons, and also continued to use his name and images on its souvenirs without permission and payment of royalties.

      Today it became known that the parties were able to resolve their differences, and they no longer have any claims against each other. Gunther Steiner withdrew the lawsuit.

      "The Haas team is pleased to announce that Gunther Steiner and the Haas team have settled the dispute, and Gunther Steiner has withdrawn all charges made earlier in the lawsuit," the Formula 1 team said in a statement. "All claims made against Haas have been dismissed.

      Mr. Steiner and the Haas team wish each other success in their future endeavors. The parties will not provide further comments on this issue."
