Mattia Binotto: "I am really happy to be working on Audi's future in Formula 1. I never imagined that I would become a part of such an interesting project – the most ambitious, complex and grandiose of all existing today.
It's based on Audi's legacy, they've never been involved in Formula 1 before, but they've been successful in everything they've done in the past.
Many people expect Audi to be very strong in 2026, but we have clearly set the goal to fight for the title in 2030. It will take several years to prepare. It is important to move forward step by step and set the right goals for 2025, 2026, 2027 and beyond. Our goal for 2025 is to improve compared to last season.
We operate according to a strategic plan that includes a complete transformation of the business, turning a team that does not win into a team that wins, working on tools, methodologies, processes, teams, skills, equipment, culture and behavior. There is a lot to do, but everything is going according to plan.
