Jos Verstappen: Max doesn't want to be booed

At the presentation of the coloring of the new cars in London, the audience booed Max Verstappen, Christian Horner and FIA President Mohammed bin Sulayem.

As a response, Sulayem decided to use an administrative resource, and his father, Yos, told about Max's reaction in an interview with RaceXpress.

Jos Verstappen: "Max doesn't want to be booed in front of 25,000 people. He said, "If I get booed in the UK this year, they definitely won't see me there anymore." I totally agree with him. He came to London to participate in the promotion of the sport and demonstrate the new coloring of cars, but if you hear booing at yourself, you ask yourself: "What am I doing here?"

In general, I liked the presentation, but the way Red Bull Racing was greeted is a shame. Team principal Christian Horner was also booed, as was Max. I think this is unacceptable. I understand why the British don't like Max – he always says what he thinks. But what happened at the ceremony disappointed me."
