F2: Arvid Lindblad led the protocol of the first day of tests

      Three-day Formula 2 pre-season tests have started in Barcelona, Spain. Arvid Lindblad showed the best time, completing a lap in the afternoon session in 1:24.415 seconds.

      The start of the tests was delayed by 45 minutes due to fog, but gradually the weather improved, and the racers took to the track for the first time in 2025. A few minutes after the start of the morning session, red flags appeared – Alex Dunne stopped at turn ten. The Rodin Motorsport racer's car was promptly evacuated, and the tests continued.

      At first, everyone was working with basic settings, gradually gaining speed. There were no more stops in the session, and Victor Martin from ART showed the best time – 1:25.760 seconds. Oliver Goethe drove the longest distance – 37 laps.

      After the lunch break, work on the track resumed – the racers started with a series of fast laps. Half an hour later, red flags appeared on the track due to Max Esterson's departure into the gravel at turn five. Once again, red flags appeared due to the fact that Dino Beganovic stopped in the area between the sixth and seventh turns.

      The teams continued to work on their programs, and an hour and a half before the end of the session, Lindblad showed the best time of the day.

      For the fourth time that day, red flags appeared fifteen minutes before the end of the session – Sami Megetunif stopped at the second corner. After a short pause, the riders were able to drive a few more laps. Richard Fershor covered the longest distance in the afternoon – 50 laps.
