Lawson doesn't feel like a novice.

      Before the start of his first full season in Formula 1, Liam Lawson stated that he did not feel like a newcomer to Red Bull Racing, even though he had held only 11 Grands Prix in RB.

      Liam Lawson: "As a reserve driver, I spent more time at Red Bull than at RB. I went to races with Red Bull, and I worked on the simulator for many years. Because of the amount of time I spent helping develop and pilot these machines, I got used to them.

      With each car, you adapt your driving style to use its strengths to your advantage and make the most of it. We are professional racers, we have to handle any technique, whether it suits us or not. The question is, will you make the machine work for you? And I would like to think that I will succeed."
