The FIA has made it clear that the approval of the Cadillac team's bid to compete in Formula 1 in 2026 will be officially announced soon.
On social media, the federation's press service posted a photo of the start of the 2014 Spanish Grand Prix with the caption "How many cars can you count?" and the FIA and F126 tags.
Of course, there are twenty-two cars in the photo, which is two more than they have been competing in Formula 1 in recent years. The publication of such a message can only mean that Cadillac will soon be named the eleventh team to join Formula 1 in 2026.
