Pierre Vache: The new car is three to four tenths faster

      Pierre Vache, technical director of Red Bull Racing, believes that the new RB21 is three to four tenths faster than last year's RB20, which was used at the end of the season.

      Pierre Vache: "When we found the cause of the problems last year, we made a temporary patch, and fixed the problem in the RB21 design.

      The RB21 was created in an old wind tunnel, so difficulties with data correlation are still possible, but we use the equipment we have when we need to make a decision.

      In our case, this is not a correlation, but a kind of extrapolation of our calculations on a real highway. This is part of the engineering work that we do. I can't say that we feel 100% confidence, but this is not an obstacle in our work."
