FIA to visit Ferrari and McLaren bases for inspection

While some of the Bahrain tests were following with interest the changing shape of the front wing on Red Bull cars under load, the team formulated a request to the FIA regarding the flexibility of the rear wing and the "mini-DRS" system from Ferrari and McLaren.

Last season, the FIA tried to take measures to control the bending of the front wing by installing cameras on the cars, but found no violations of the rules. In Melbourne, they will put the same cameras on the rear wing, but Red Bull sees this decision as a threat to its competitiveness, and insist on more.

According to the Italian publication FUnoAnalisiTechnica, Red Bull has collected information for the FIA in the form of an "official accusatory dossier," so that the federation's technical experts will visit the Ferrari and McLaren bases in Maranello and Woking to conduct inspections.
