There are 12 drivers in the Mercedes youth program in 2025.

The Mercedes-AMG F1 team has presented an updated list of participants in its youth program, which now includes 12 drivers and racers representing nine different countries.

They compete in various motorsport categories, from karting to Formula 3, including three female drivers: Dorian Ping, who is already well-known to the world, competing in the F1 Academy series and endurance racing, and Luna Fluxe, has been joined by another karting player, Julia Montlor.

The success of the youth program of the Stuttgart Group's factory team is evidenced by the fact that both drivers representing Mercedes in Formula 1 this year, i.e. George Russell and Kimi Antonelli, are graduates. So did backup pilot Frederick Vesti.

Gwen Lagrue, Driver Training Program Consultant: "2025 promises to be a special year for the Mercedes youth program, which was revived in 2016. Both drivers of our Formula 1 team have been through this program and are setting an example for other young drivers.

This year we decided to pay attention to the new championships and invited six new participants to the program, competing in different categories – from karting to Formula 3.

Some of our young drivers are already ready to compete for titles in their series, others are just at the beginning of their career in single-seater racing; some are already finishing their career in karting, and others are just starting it. We have amazing talents at all levels, so we're looking forward to a very busy season."

George Russell: "A significant part of my life is connected with the Mercedes youth program. Most of all, I am grateful for the support that everyone in this team has given me, helping me achieve results. I know that all 12 current participants in this program will also receive the best possible support, and this will help them achieve success in motorsport.

Kimi and I are also graduates of the program, and since we are both competing in Formula 1 this year, it shows what opportunities open up for the participants of the program. I am sure that each of the young drivers in 2025 will make every effort to achieve success, and I want to see it on the track."
