The British press named Oscar Piastri's salary

      On the eve of the Australian Grand Prix, McLaren announced the extension of the contract with Oscar Piastri. The team did not provide specific details of the new agreement, but the British press managed to find out some details.

      According to the Daily Mail, the new "multi-year contract" will allow Piastri to drive for McLaren until the end of this decade. But, as is usually the case in such multi-year agreements, it provides for possible early termination clauses.

      The newspaper also managed to find out the amount of salary that Oscar will receive. We are talking about 20 million pounds per year. In addition, bonus payments are provided for achieving certain results.

      Last year, McLaren extended the contract with Piastri's teammate Lando Norris. In the case of the British racer, the agreement was also called multi-year, without specifying specific dates.
