Aston Martin has launched a new wind tunnel

The Aston Martin team announces the launch of a new wind tunnel at the Silverstone base. Equipped with the latest technology, it became the last part of the equation that the team had to solve, aiming to become a factory in 2026.

The new wind tunnel will be used to refine this year's AMR25 and develop the car for the 2026 season.

The pipe is located in the same building with modern additive manufacturing equipment and a 60% scale machine model assembly area, which will speed up development and improve operational efficiency.

Andy Cowell, Team leader: "Thank you to everyone who contributed to the creation of our own wind tunnel. We were able to combine the efforts of external partners and our own technologies, completing a difficult task in a short time. As a result, all the equipment is under one roof, which is very important, as we are working to become a full-fledged factory team starting in 2026."
