      Carlos Sainz (11th): "A positive Friday. The car was fast in the first practice session, but in the second it was not possible to achieve the required efficiency on Soft tires – this needs to be dealt with before qualifying. If we increase our speed on soft tyres, we will be competitive.

      The results are very tight, the cars of all the teams are very fast, tomorrow we need to cleanly qualify, and then we'll see what the results turn out to be."

      Alex Albon (12th): "There were problems with the brakes in the first training session, but we were able to solve them between sessions and immediately improved. By the end of the second practice session, I was driving at a good pace, but I lost to my rivals on Soft tires. We need to understand why this happened and figure it out before qualifying.

      We could easily have been in the top ten on Medium tires, but Soft tires have changed a bit compared to last year, and we are trying to find an approach to them. Overall, it's a good start to the season."
