Lewis Hamilton: We will keep attacking!

Lewis Hamilton: We will keep attacking!

There are many mature people among the Ferrari mechanics who have seen a lot in the world of Formula 1, but when Lewis Hamilton approached them after winning the sprint at the Shanghai autodrom, it was obvious with what sincere joy they congratulated him. We'll see how things develop further, but today the seven-time world champion showed everyone what he came to this team for.

Lewis Hamilton (1st): "I woke up in a great mood today! The first race of the season was not easy, but it seems to me that many simply underestimate the complexity of the tasks that have to be solved when you join a new team, go through a period of adaptation in it, when you need to figure everything out and establish mutual understanding. In general, a lot of work needs to be done.

I've heard a lot of criticism, many of them constantly grumble, but they probably don't understand what's going on, because these people have probably never had such an experience. But everything is going great in Shanghai, I'm already much more comfortable in the car, because in Melbourne the driving experience was not good.

And this weekend, from the very first lap, everything is going as it should. The team's engineers and mechanics did a great job setting up the car, and today the piloting experience was just wonderful.

I got off to a good start, the new track surface provides excellent grip, but at the same time it was hard to protect the tires, although I think that everyone had similar difficulties.

But I don't feel any pressure, I know the mood of the Ferrari fans, I know that our team wants to win, I know how much it means to them. I have already said that we need to move forward gradually, step by step. Rome wasn't built in a day, so we won't get ahead of ourselves. But we will keep attacking!"
