Leo Turini, as always, found interesting metaphors when summing up yesterday's Japanese Grand Prix, and if his favorite team is not pleasing the Italian fans yet, he suggests finding at least some solace in the successes of Kimi Antonelli at the wheel of a Mercedes car.
Well, we won't have to write about disqualifications today (since there have already been precedents, nothing can be ruled out). But that's what Ferrari is like now. It's average at best, and it definitely doesn't qualify for gold. There is nothing to add to this.
It can be assumed that in the process of upgrading the car and implementing updates, the Scuderia will still recoup, but at the moment the situation seems quite unambiguous.
Since SF-25 was born in agony, here are the results. It was immediately clear, although, of course, you can keep your hopes up forever. But still, it's better not to deceive yourself.
Let's briefly summarize the results.
Charles Leclair gave his best both in qualifying and in the race. But he was far from the top three, especially since the race was held in normal conditions, there was no rain, no safety cars.
Now about Lewis Hamilton: I respect him too much to judge him for the level of his results. Unfortunately, you always have to make allowances for the limited capabilities of the car.
Still, being Italian, I find some solace looking at Kimi Antonelli.
It was his first race at Suzuka, and he did a great job. And he also recorded the best lap. And this is on the track, which has always been said that it is there that the rider undergoes a real test of what he is worth.
In general, congratulations to this Harry Potter of the motor world!
Oliver Berman and Isaac Hajjar also performed well.
As for Carlos Sainz, I suspect he's become depressed: he can't catch up with Alex Albon, even though he's not that fast.
I don't even know what to write about Max Verstappen now. He really is one of the strongest drivers of all time, and I'm sorry for those who still refuse to admit it.
