Hajjar: I am sure that in Bahrain we will compete for points.
At the last stage in Japan, Isaac Hajjar scored the first points of his career. The Racing Bulls racer wants to secure the Bahrain Grand Prix. His team-mate Liam Lawson is also looking forward to a productive weekend.
Isaac Hajjar: "It's strange to say this, but Bahrain will host the fourth race of the season. In Japan, the car was very fast, and I earned my first points. We got them deservedly, thanks to our own pace, so I feel more confident before the start of this weekend.
The pre-season tests in Bahrain turned out to be difficult, but I think we made the right conclusions. Now the team is returning to the same track, but with more experience, so it's interesting to see where we stand. The whole team and I are confident that we will be able to compete for qualifying finals and race points."
Liam Lawson: "I'm looking forward to the Bahrain stage. We're going to have a night race, and I like that. I spent the Japanese stage with Racing Bulls, and after a few days I have the opportunity to get back behind the wheel of their car. Last week we saw that the car has a lot of potential, so I'm ready to start exploring it.
It should be very hot in Bahrain at this time of the year, but due to the fact that the race will take place at night, the conditions will be different. There is a legendary track here, which has a very high tire load. But the team has been conducting tests here, so I hope that this weekend we will use the information obtained during the tests when working with the car."
