Kimi Antonelli on the difficulties of her senior year at school

Kimi Antonelli, an 18-year-old Mercedes driver who has every chance of becoming the best debutant of the season, passed his driver's license less than two months before the start of the championship. But this year he will have to pass another, equally important test – to pass the school exams for the matriculation certificate.

Moreover, the difficulty is also to find suitable dates for this.

"This is my last year of school. I have final exams coming up, and now I'm trying to choose the right date when I can take them, and it's not easy," Kimi shared, taking part in the podcast The Fast and the Curious. – I'm not going to lie, they help me very actively at school, they send me educational materials, but it still requires a serious approach.

To be honest, I always say that I don't want to do this at all, although if you think about it, it's also an important thing. My studies at school have been organized this way for many years, and it would just be a shame to give up everything in the last year. Besides, my mom is very worried about it, so I'll do it for her as well.

I study remotely online. I study at a regular school, so I can't contact them during the day – it's just not practiced there. But after each lesson, they send me educational material – everything that was passed in class, but my classmates also help.

Of course, it's difficult, and this year even more so. I can't keep up with the rest of the class, because, of course, I have more things to do, but I'll still try to finish school.

To be honest, it feels absolutely terrible. Let's start with the math: First you see the numbers, and then you see the letters! I immediately think: "My God, why am I doing all this?" But I have to, even though it's a very difficult subject.

And my favorite subjects are English, because I already know it perfectly well, and I don't have to study it, and I also like physical education, where you can just play something.

We don't talk about my school subjects with Toto Wolff. He also understands that this is an important matter, but I have never asked him to help me with any school matters. But I'm going to ask George Russell to help me with math! (laughs) And we'll see what happens."
