Leclair will test the new settings in Bahrain
Charles Leclair plans to test a new car setup at the Bahrain Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver will do this as part of the search for a solution to the lack of speed in the first three stages of the season.
The Italian edition of Corriere dello Sport writes that at the last stage in Japan on Saturday, Charles Leclair informed the head of the Scuderia, Frederic Wasser, that he would "take a different path" in working with the SF-25 settings in Bahrain, choosing a direction that differs from the one the team followed this year.
Moreover, the article claims that Ferrari has been "hanging on Lewis Hamilton's every word" since he joined the team. It is possible that Leclair simply does not fit his partner's settings, and this is why he decided to test a different approach.
The Sakhir circuit is suitable for Ferrari experiments, as pre-season tests took place here in February, and engineers have a lot of information at their disposal for comparison.
