Barilla – official partner of Formula 1
Barilla, the world's largest pasta manufacturer, has become the new official partner of Formula 1, signing a multi-year contract.
Paolo Barilla, the company's top manager (pictured on the right), won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1985, and competed in Formula 1 for Minardi in the late 80s. Later, the company sponsored Alessandro Zanardi. Barilla ads will appear on the championship tracks, and products will be presented in the paddock.
Stefano Domenicali, head of Formula 1: "We are looking forward to starting an incredible adventure with our new partner, and we are confident that he will add an even brighter flavor to the emotions of Formula 1."
