Hajjar: After a bad start, we are too far behind

In Bahrain, Racing Bulls racers finished outside the top ten, and Liam Lawson also received a fine, which, however, did not affect the final result.

Isaac Hajjar (finished 14th, 13th after the disqualification of Nico Hulkenberg): "The start of the race was not good, I lost four positions - it felt like the car didn't move at all. I did not understand the reason for this, and we need to analyze everything.

I think all the actions at the start were correct, but the drive wheels slipped, which put us in an unfavorable position on the first lap. If we had qualified better, then the race could have been more successful.

Overall, we showed a good pace, used aggressive tactics, and I think we acted correctly. Unfortunately, after a bad start, we were too far behind, and that didn't help matters. The same applies to the safety car, as it was difficult to restart on worn-out hard tires.

Now it is important to take into account all the things that we failed at the Bahrain stage and draw conclusions for the future."

Liam Lawson (finished 17th and 16th after the disqualification of Nico Hulkenberg): "The race was eventful, we were capable of good speed, but we couldn't take advantage of it. The only way to win back positions was to overtake due to late braking.

I had no intention of making contact with rival cars, but the stewards decided to fine me, so we have to analyze all these incidents. It's a pity that we didn't achieve a result that reflected the team's progress, because the car was really fast in qualifying, but we couldn't take advantage of it.

She was capable of good speed over the race distance, but when you start from the back, there's not much you can do, and we just couldn't be effective today."
