Hajjar: I want to believe that Jeddah will suit our car.

Isaac Hajjar did not score points at the last stage in Bahrain, but expects to perform better in Jeddah. The Racing Bulls racer told about this at the FIA press conference.

Isaac Hajjar: "The Bahrain stage was not as good for us as the previous two weekends. It was even worse than in Melbourne. The Bahrain track stood out from the rest due to the temperature and grip on the asphalt. It was difficult to drive, but the car, even in such conditions, allowed us to count on reaching the qualifying finals, which is not bad.

There were definitely chances in the race, but I didn't do well on the first lap, and that was pretty much the end of the race. Nevertheless, I believe that the last stage for us was not as bad as it might look from the outside. I want to believe that the track in Jeddah will suit our car better.

Every time I go to the track in the first practice session, I am very impressed by how different the track is behind the wheel of Formula 1 from what I am used to in Formula 2. The first two or three laps are shocking, but then I pick up speed.

I'm definitely looking forward to driving Formula 1 in Jeddah, especially in the first sector. I think it will be great."
