Berman: The race was hampered by problems with the balance of the car
The Haas team did not earn points in Jeddah and dropped to sixth place in the Constructors' Cup at the end of the race, passing Williams. After the finish, Oliver Berman and Esteban Ocon said that the car did not have enough speed on this track to compete for places in the top ten.
Oliver Berman (13th): "I had problems with my balance today, especially in the first leg, so I couldn't achieve much. The fight against Racing Bulls was intense, but we still couldn't match their pace, and I had to change Medium quite early. Plus, it's very difficult to overtake and chase rivals in the first sector on this track.
Overall, the series of stages turned out to be positive, as we fought for points in three races in a row on three very different tracks, which is positive."
Esteban Ocon (14th): "If we evaluate the series of stages as a whole, then everything worked out for me in Bahrain, for Oliver in Suzuka, and here we both had problems.
We tried to do something with strategy to compete for points, but unfortunately it wasn't enough today. But we have received a lot of useful information in this race, which I hope will help us next time. We will continue to work and hopefully return to Miami in good shape."
