Charles Leclair brings Ferrari its first podium of the season

Charles Leclair finished third in Jeddah and brought Ferrari its first podium of the season. Monegasque called the result the maximum that was possible today.

His teammate Lewis Hamilton finished seventh, in the same position he started from.

Charles Leclair (3rd): "I am very happy with the race. I think we made the most of everything we could today. I am very proud of the team, but we need to keep improving the car to fight for better results.

From the outside, it might have seemed like I had a calm and relaxed race, but from the cockpit it didn't seem that way to me! The main thing is that we have a result today, and I am happy about it. I thought that in this race I would be thinking more about how to keep my rivals behind, especially Kimi Antonelli. But it's good that it turned out the way it did.

We have to keep attacking to get the most out of it. I hope that we will soon receive new items that will make the car better. Thanks to the fans for their support!"

Lewis Hamilton (7th): "It was a difficult weekend - the car lacked pace and stability over the three days. The start of the Grand Prix was good, but in the first lap I had to monitor the condition of the front tires. There was some progress in the second half of the race and I was able to close the gap to Kimi Antonelli.

I'm focused on working with the team. Let's see what we can prepare for Miami. Huge congratulations to Charles and the team on a well-deserved podium."
