Oscar Piastri: It would be difficult to drive faster.

Oscar Piastri finished second in qualifying, losing only a hundredth to Max Verstappen, and admitted that he could not have gone faster.…

Oscar Piastri (2nd): "To be honest, I'm quite happy with my circle. I have used all my reserves of speed and am satisfied with the work done. It would be difficult to drive faster.

I had to catch up in the first part of qualifying, but the last lap seemed to be more or less the best I could do.

Max did a good job. This is another high-speed highway that suits them, but it didn't let them down either. We will continue the fight tomorrow. We have a good pace. It's going to be a difficult race and the tyres are a bit softer than last year, so we'll see if that plays into our hands."

Lando Norris (10th): "After the accident, I called myself an "idiot," and now I'm ready to repeat myself. I have to fight for pole position, not risk it the way I did.

It's not a fact that if it hadn't been for the accident, I would have been on pole today – we knew that Red Bull would be fast, and Max did his job well. But before the accident, I was involved in wrestling, I was doing well, I felt comfortable. I let myself and the team down, our guys have a lot of work to do to rebuild the car.

I do not know what happened. I didn't have time to figure it out, but it's just a mistake. Obviously, I made life difficult for myself and the team, but it happens sometimes.

Hopefully, I'll be able to bounce back in the race. It's not easy to overtake here, but we have a strong car, although not as good as we would like, because we are not on pole position."
