Shaila-Ann Rao - Advisor to the President of the FIA
The FIA announced today that FIA President Mohammed Bin Sulayem has appointed Shaila-Ann Rao, formerly Chief Lawyer of Mercedes Grand Prix Limited and advisor to Toto Wolff, and later FIA General Secretary, as his advisor, effective May 1. She will advise the President on legal and commercial matters related to the seven FIA World Championships.
Mohammed Bin Sulayem, President of the FIA: "I am pleased to welcome Shaila-Ann Rao back to the FIA. She has an exceptional track record in global motorsport and will be a great asset to me and my team as we continue to improve the regulatory and commercial framework in all FIA World Championships to the benefit of FIA drivers, teams and member clubs. In addition, she will advise me on issues related to all the promoters of the World Championships."
