Before the start of the race weekend in Miami, Kimi Antonelli said that he had never been to this city, but he was already enjoying everything. The Mercedes driver hopes that the speed of the car will allow him to compete for a place in the front row at the start.

Kimi Antonelli: "I think it's going to be a very interesting weekend. This is the first time I've come to Miami – not only to the track, but also to the city itself – it's cool. I like it!

We have been playing very consistently this season and are especially good in the qualifiers – we have a very high pace, which allows us to compete for positions in the front ranks. I hope it will be the same this weekend.

As for the race, I do not know what to expect. At the last stage in Jeddah, George Russell and I had some speed problems on the long run. But we still look good, the degradation of the rubber in previous races was not very high, so I think we can compete.

I hope that we will achieve a good result in qualifying again. If we manage to start from the front rows, then we will be able to compete for the first positions."
