Jack Duane: I got caught in the first corner.

      The race in Miami turned out to be unsuccessful for Alpine – the team did not earn points again. Pierre Gasly finished thirteenth, and Jack Duane retired from the race after colliding with Liam Lawson at the start in the first corner.

      Pierre Gasly (13th): "Overall, it's been a difficult weekend for us. But at least we're leaving Miami with one bonus point earned in Saturday's sprint, which turned out to be unexpected.

      We knew it was going to be a difficult race, taking into account all the problems with the car that the team was trying to fix before the start. Everything turned out even a little better than expected, but we lacked the pace.

      I was hoping for rain, which gave me a chance to fight, but it never started. We need to analyze our speed in Miami, because we looked more competitive in the previous stages, but here the situation has become more complicated. The team needs to work hard before the next race in Imola."

      Jack Duane (gathering): "A difficult end to the weekend. I started in the middle of the peloton, and it's always difficult in the first corners. I was trapped in the first corner – I had nowhere to go, so I collided with Lawson. The damage was too severe for me to safely return to the pit lane, so I had to get off.

      We showed encouraging signs in the sprint, especially in difficult weather conditions, and I felt comfortable in the car all weekend.

      Right now, all our attention is focused on the next few races. We will have a week to rest and prepare for the upcoming series, which opens the European part of the season."
