Esteban Ocon is pleased with the actions of the race director

      In the past, there have sometimes been many laps between drivers complaining about poor visibility and the race director's decision to stop it with red flags, but Haas F1 driver Esteban Ocon is pleased with how quickly Ruy Marques reacted in the sprint.

      Esteban Ocon: "The FIA has done a very good job. I am impressed with the actions of the new race director, Ruy Marquez, because at that moment I really did not see anything on the track. They immediately stopped the session, although the grip level was good – due to the water dust hanging in the air, visibility was minimal.

      The restart was also given very timely, as soon as it became safe to race."
